First: Definitions

• Platform: The Thawab digital platform.
• User: Any natural or legal person who uses the platform.
• Charitable Requester (Donor): The user who authorizes the platform to perform charitable acts on their behalf.
• Association: A legally licensed charitable organization within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Service: Enabling the Charitable Requester to appoint the platform to carry out charitable activities through partner associations.
• Competent Authorities: The regulatory and supervisory authorities within the Kingdom.

Second: Scope of Service

• The Thawab Platform operates as a technical and organizational intermediary and does not carry out direct on-ground implementation.
• Charitable activities are executed through licensed and approved associations.
• The platform’s responsibility is limited to digitally managing charitable operations, coordination, documentation, and reporting.

Third: Platform Usage شروط

• The user must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• The platform may not be used for any unlawful purposes or activities that violate applicable regulations.
• The platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts in cases of misuse.

Fourth: Charitable Activities and Implementation Mechanism

• All charitable activities are carried out based on Sharia-compliant authorization (agency).
• The Charitable Requester acknowledges and agrees to direct their charitable acts according to the options available on the platform.
• Charitable contributions cannot be reversed once the payment process has been completed.
• The donor will be notified of the status of the charitable activity, and implementation will be documented whenever possible.

Fifth: Fees and Commissions

• The platform may charge operational or administrative fees for its services.
• Fees are subject to applicable regulations, including approved Sharia guidelines.

Sixth: Intellectual Property Rights

• All platform content, designs, and software are owned by the Thawab Platform.
• Copying or reusing any part of the platform without prior written permission is prohibited.

Seventh: Limitation of Liability

• The platform is not responsible for any delay or shortcoming caused by the executing association beyond its control.
• The platform is committed to exercising due diligence in selecting partner associations.
• The platform bears no responsibility for force majeure circumstances.

Eighth: Regulatory Compliance

• Charitable Work Regulations
• Personal Data Protection Law
• Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Regulations

Ninth: Termination of Use

• The user may terminate their account at any time.
• The platform may suspend or terminate accounts upon violation of these terms.
• Legal obligations shall remain in effect after termination.
